Michael Jones and Michael Cayley to provide the group with an overview of their experiences while using wikis and other forms of social media in educational setting. Michael Jones is Program Co-Ordinator for U of T's Communications Culture and Information Technology Program at Sheridan and a U of T, Information PhD candidate. Michael Cayley developed Social Capital Value Add as his MBA thesis (a method to link social media to corporate valuation), designed and teaches the post graduate level course in social media for Humber's Public Relations Program. The Michaels will each give short presentations, highlighting their approaches, the platforms that they used and learning that might be useful for you. By now you all know that there is a social media revolution happening. Beginning this year in the United States, Gen Y outnumbers Baby Boomers. We will try to give you new insights to thrive in this era.
